Life as I know it...

Little Clairebear can rock a bumbo now.  In fact she doesn't like to lay flat on the floor that long.  I don't blame her.  In fact I don't like to lay on the floor that long either with monster brother Benny terrorizing the city.

Oh I could just eat her up.  My favorite thing to do is snuggle my face right into her chubby neck.  I snuggle in and just breath in the sweet smell that is a mixture of baby lotion, milk, spit up, and baby freshness.  I know it's an odd combo, but I love it.
Life as I know it has reached a comfortable spot.  I feel safe to say that we've settled into a functioning family of five.  Sometimes we rock it, and sometimes we are barely making it, but we are happy.  We even have a little time to make a fort every now and then, which was my favorite past time growing up.  Kam is usually the head architect.  The boys love it every time.
Young Women's keeps me busy, crafty, crazy, and young.  I seriously love the Young Women.  They are sweet and hilarious little lights.
Despite having three children and a busy calling, I love that I can still find time to put myself into a heavenly little sugar coma in celebration of my friend's 30th birthday.  It was a marvelous occasion.  The night involved kidnapping, surprise, sugar, and friends.  What could be better?
Claire and I have found a little sleep rhythm.  She isn't sleeping through the night, but she lets me get a couple good little stretches.  She is amazing to put to sleep.  All she needs is her little strait jacket cocoon wrap and she passes out.
The winner for this season's Tasmanian Devil award goes to Mr. Benson himself.  With all my responsibilities and daily flow, he keeps me on my toes the most.  I don't dare leave Claire in the room alone with him...ever ever.  Some of his award winning moments have been stuffing m&ms in Claire's mouth, painting his face with my eye shadow, cutting our blinds, hopping in the tub with his clothes on, cutting our web cam cord, trying to pull Claire out of her swing, running down the neighborhood sidewalk with me chasing him (multiple times, once naked), and coloring the tile floor.  Just to name a few.
One particularly hard day, I called my mom in desperation and she started singing, "Momma said there'd be days like this..."  On bad days I start singing that song and oddly enough, it makes the day a little better.
Life can be a crazy event.  Given the choice to go back and change it all up, I would never change it...never ever.

I just had to leave a comment about your post. The crazy moments your youngest son gives you reminds me of some of the days I have. Your blog is an inspiration to me. You are an amazing mom and I will be honest on days I am having a really hard time I sometimes say what would Haylie do. Thank you for being an inspiration to me.
